The NHS app is available for client's aged 13 and above, registered with a GP surgery in England or the Isle of Man.
Clients under the age of 13 cannot use the NHS app. For children under the age of 13, you can request for their child's record to be linked to a parent or guardian's account.
Clients aged between 13 and 15 need to first contact their GP practice and request login credentials for online services before they can access their medical record or order a prescription. The practice may require these patients to undergo a Gillick Competency assessment where they verify the child or young person's identity and assess which online services they can access. Client's aged 13 to 15 cannot self-register for access to their GP health record.
