Private ADHD assessments: Cancellation, refunds and missed appointments

We understand that plans can change. This guide explains what happens if you change your mind after paying for your private ADHD assessment, need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, or miss your appointment.

If you change your mind after paying

If I pay for an ADHD assessment and change my mind, can I ask for a refund?

Yes. You can cancel within 14 days of paying and get a full refund, as long as your assessment has not taken place.

After 14 days, our cancellation and rescheduling terms apply.

If you need to cancel or reschedule

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

What happens will depend on how much notice you give us:

• 7 days' notice or more – you can receive a full refund or reschedule your appointment at no cost.
• Between 48 hours and 7 days' notice – you can receive a 50% refund or reschedule your appointment for a £50 administration fee.
• Less than 48 hours' notice – we are unable to offer a refund, but you can reschedule your appointment for a £100 administration fee.

The earlier you let us know, the more flexibility we can offer. Please get in touch as soon as you know you need to cancel or reschedule.

If you miss your appointment
 

We will treat your appointment as missed if:

• you do not join within 20 minutes of the appointment start time; or
• you join the appointment but are unable to complete it, for example because of technical issues.

If you miss your appointment, we are unable to offer a refund. You can book a new appointment for a £150 fee.
 

What if something outside my control caused me to miss my appointment?

Please let us know if something outside your control meant you could not attend or complete your appointment.

We will review what happened and may waive the £150 rebooking fee on the first occasion.

If you miss any further appointments, the £150 rebooking fee will apply.
