What is Right to Choose?
Right to Choose is an NHS referral scheme in which patients in England referred by their GP for an ADHD or Autism assessment have the legal right to choose a provider to oversee their care.
As an approved Right to Choose provider, you can receive your NHS-funded assessment through our expert team.
The Right to Choose is only applicable to NHS England; clients under NHS Scot, NHS Wales and NHS NI cannot acquire a Right to Choose referral. You can speak to your GP about nation-based alternatives.
You can learn more about the scheme and your rights in more detail on our dedicated resource page.
What services are available through Right to Choose?
As a Right to Choose provider, ProblemShared currently offers assessments and post-diagnostic care for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC, or simply Autism).
We currently offer Autism assessments for:
- Adults (18+)
- Children and Young People (7-18)
We currently offer ADHD assessments for:
- Adults (18+)
Our post-diagnostic services include Psychoeducation and ADHD Medication, which you can learn more about in our Help Centre or by reading about what happens after the assessment.
We don’t currently offer diagnostic services for conditions other than ADHD and Autism through the Right to Choose. If you’d like to inquire about how to be assessed for another condition, speak to your GP directly.
