Yes, clients can now access translation services for the following sessions:
- ADHD Assessment
- ADHD Informant Session (where a clients informant requires a translator and cannot complete an Informant Questionnaire in fluent English)
- Autism DHI Session
- INA Session
Please note, we cannot offer translation services for clients for an SpLD Assessment, or an Autism Assessment.
If you need a translator, please inform us of this at your earliest convenience. You can advise your clinician at your Initial Needs Assessment (where applicable), or contact us via telephone on 020 3835 2900 or email us at help@problemshared.net once you have enrolled. Please include your name, date of birth, postcode and the language you require your session to be translated to.
If your informant requires a translation session, please include your personal details as well as the name of your informant, their contact email address, their relationship to you, and the language they require their session to be translated to.
Translation sessions are held via video call and are provided by a company called DALS. Client sessions and Autism DHI sessions are booked as normal on our video platform, Semble. Clients should attend the session using the link in their email confirmation as usual. For ADHD Informant Sessions, Informants will receive a Microsoft Teams invite to join the session.
We are unable to translate pre-assessment questionnaires. Translation sessions are attended by the client or clients informant, the assessor, and a translator. For informant sessions, the client does not need to attend.
Translation sessions last slightly longer than a standard assessment, please find the average time for a session below:
ADHD – 3 hours
ADHD Informant Session – 2 hours.
Autism DHI Session – 3 – 6 hours
INA - 1 hour
